Carlisle Medical Pharmacy News — E-Prescribing

Carlisle Medical Pharmacy has expanded its capability to receive prescriptions electronically. E-Prescribing is a significant time saver for physicians, as they are able to electronically send their prescriptions to pharmacies like ours from their hand held tablets or computers. E-Prescribing also eliminates any “translation” of handwritten prescriptions by pharmacists.

Please use this information to promote our new capabilities when speaking to physician’s offices. To utilize this service, the physician must be registered with an E-Prescribing vendor and have the software. Many offices have already found us and are utilizing this service.

NOTE: E-Prescribing is not available for CII prescriptions, as the original written prescription is required.
